A friend of mine at work wants a growler of my beer, but it would have sit unrefrigerated while we're at work. Would going from cold to room temp and then back to cold cause it to spoil? Sorry if this one has been discussed already.

I would just wait because in my experience a filled growler gets pretty flat after about 3 hours.

Going from cold to hot to cold would definitely make it flat.

Atleast put it in an cooler in your car or something with ice.
