Hi all,

One of our semi local micro breweries recently gave me a grain bill for one of their Irish Reds. I need help converting this to a mini mash recipe.

8% Crisp C77
8% Castle Caramunich
3% Roasted Barley
6% Crisp Caramalt
With the remainder being Crisp Pale

25 IBU's with GRM Magnum hops and finish with Fuggles @.5oz per 5 gallons. Wyeast 1968.

I am pretty new to this so constructing recipes is Latin at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is for a 5 gallon batch.

Ok, then. Let's see. How about:

4 lbs Light Dry Extract (8.0 SRM) Dry Extract 49.69 %

2 lbs Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) Grain 24.84 %
10 oz C77
10 oz Caramunich Malt
8.0 oz Caramalt
3.0 oz Roasted Barley

1.00 Magnum 60 minutes
0.50 oz Fuggles 5 min

Depending on the AA% of the magnum, that should work.
