Two weeks ago, had some hops laying around and a pint of WLP001 saved from previous brew. So brewed 14# GWM Premium 2-row and had 1oz Magnum and 1oz Citra laying around. Guess it was a SMa2H brew. Bottled it today. Straw color, and very hoppy on the nose and taste.Not very good with the "hints of wet stone, or persimmon" thing. reminds me of Cascade. Not very bitter though. Of course this was the hydrometer sample chilled for a half hour.
I pitched the pint of slurry cold and about 8 hours later , BLOOP!. Very happy with that. So far, so good. We'll see in two weeks.
