Hey Guys, I was trying to make a recipe for an IPA, I am pretty sure about the hop schedule, but I am still trying to work out the grain bill. I was trying to add some malt backbone with the vienna malt and some body from the flaked barley... Anyways, any suggestions would be appreciated!

I do 2.5 Gallon Batches so I scaled the recipe with beersmith before I put it up, I am guessing it didnt exactly double the hops because it still thinks i would be leaving the same amount of trub behind for a 5 gal as a 2.5 gal batch....

I like FWH, but I don't think it provides the same feel of bittering as a traditional 60 minutes addition. I generally change the FWH time in beersmith to 30 minutes to get it's bittering contribution. With 110 IBUs I don't think it matters.

Hmmm.... maybe i will add in a 60 min addition as well! What do you think FWH adds as opposed to the 60 min addition?
