Am I the only one that feels like IPA and Pale Ale need to be broken out in the style guidelines? The reason I bring this up is I knew that the IPA style had "hazy" in it. I had no idea Pale Ale did as well. I got bit by that last night when I bought a six pack of a pale ale. I bought it thinking about dry, bitter, and citrusy. When I cracked the can I could see the haze.
I feel like we need to break up the definitions because a Pale Ale is a VERY different beer (IMHO) from a Hazy Pale Ale. Same goes for IPAs. Hazy is popular right now so I'm not begrudging breweries from making them. I just wish I knew what the heck I was getting before I buy it.
