I have had abt 1 gal of a solution of iodophor in a keg for abt 1 month -

is this a problem ? Do I sound like a beginner ?

Yes you do... :D As for it being a problem, I'd say yes.

The idophor is only good for 24 hours. Effective that is, I think the iodine flashes off or vaporizes. Its likely that its not changed anything in the keg. As cheap as Idophor is I'd dump it out, rinse very well a re-sanitise. Every time I leave idophor around for to long it gets a slimey feeling to it and whatever its soaking with bucket, parts, and etc have that same feel too.

thanks guys ,,

I was worried that there would be chemical damage to the keg.

I will follow advice..
