Ok hop heads..I am just getting ready to install the ball valve (bargin fittings) in my new 10 gallon pot..was wondering if anybody can advise me as to how far off the bottom the valve should be??? as I dont want to drain a bunch of trub ,thankx....Tom

unless you turn your diptube to a horizontal position you will get trub into your fermentor and that is a good thing. the valve should go on the first flat spot above the bottom curve of the keggle.
