So I just made my first recipe for a IIPA and was wondering if I am in the right ball park? What would you guys add or change? I put this into BrewPal app and got these numbers:
OG: 1.075
FG: 1.018
75% Efficiency
76% Attenuation
ABV: 7.6%
IBU: 129
Color: 7.8L

Imperial IPA (Extract/Partial Mash) 5.25 Gallons

Grain Bill:
1.5 Pounds 2 Row
0.5 Pounds Crystal 30L

Extract:
7 Pounds DME - Light
0.5 Pounds DME - Golden

Hops:
1 oz. Warrior - 60 min
1 oz. Warrior - 45 min
1 oz. Chinook - 30 min
1 oz. Centennial - 15 min
1 oz. Cascade - 5 min

Dry Hop:
3 oz. Citra - 7 days

Yeast:
WLP001 - California Ale

I'd scratch your 45 and 30 minute adds and pile more hops on in the last 15min. You might also try to get your FG down a few more points for less sweetness.

If you are using extract + Crystal grains, you don't need to have the extra 1.5 pounds 2-row. The Crystal 300 has already had it's starches broken down into simple sugars and will add some color. Just make it 9 pounds DME - Light and 0.5 lbs. Crystal 30.

For the hops, I would do away with the 30 and 45 min addition and put both Warrior additions at 60 mins.

Finishing hops should maybe be a mix of 1.0 oz Cascade and 1.0 oz Centennial with additions of 1/2 oz. @ 15, 10, 5, and 0 mins left in the boil.

You could also dry hop with some Amarillo and/or Citra for a big citrusy flavor!

Good luck!

Also, add a little bit of dextrose. It will reduce the sweetness, like Boy said.

I like 2-row in a partial mash IPA. Some say its the same thing as extract, but I feel that it adds a bit more malt character to an otherwise flat extract beer. I usually mash 2-row (English) with American wheat and maybe a tad of light crystal. Then I combine it with about 50-60% Muntons XL DME. The difference is night and day from my regular 95-100% extract IPAs.

Lastly I would only say to mix your hops instead of hitting it with 1oz adds of different hops. Let them blend together. I know very little about the grain bill though.

Ok I took your guys advice and have revamped this recipe. How could I get my FG down lower? Do I just add a 1/2 cup dextrose?
Here it goes:

Grain Bill:
1.5 Lbs 2-Row
0.5 Lbs Crystal 30L

Extract:
7 Lbs Light DME

Hops:
2 oz. Chinook - 60 Min.
0.5 oz. Centennial - 15 Min
0.5 oz. Cascade - 10 Min
0.5 oz. Centennial - 5 Min
0.5 oz. Cascade - 0 Min

Dry Hop:
2 oz. Citra - 7 Days
2 oz. Amarillo - 7 Days

Yeast:
Safale US-05

OG - 1.071
FG - 1.016
ABV - 7.2%
IBU - 104

Adding simple sugars does not reduce FG. Rather, "replacing" a portion of the base malt with simple sugars may boost fermentability, resulting in a drier beer. Creating a good, dry IPA also depends on other things.

For 6 gallon boil / 5 gallon batch:

50-70% or about 6# of Extra Light DME (US or BRIT)
20-30% or about 2# of 2-Row (US or BRIT)
8-13% or about 1# of Dextrose or Sucrose
4-6% or about 1/2# of Crystal 30L (US)

Reverse order on the Hops (you probably want more aroma with pleasing bitterness, not low aroma and extremely harsh bitterness):

0.5 oz. Chinook - 60 Min.
0.5 oz. Chinook - 30 Min.
1.0 oz. Centennial - 15 Min
1.0 oz. Cascade - 15 Min
1.0 oz. Centennial - 0 Min
1.0 oz. Cascade - 0 Min

Dry Hop:
1.5 oz. Citra - 7-12 Days
1.5 oz. Amarillo - 7-12 Days

Yeast:
Highly attenuating, appropriate sized WLP001 Starter

OG - 1.070 give or take
FG - < 1.014
ABV - 7.3% or higher
IBUs - 70-85
