Inkscape Labels design help

Anybody Use Inkscape here for their logos and Beer labels?

Just downloaded the software and Started to learn how to use it for my beer labels. Just need to know how do I set it up to actually make the labels for my 12oz beer bottles. So I can have them printed up in their appropriate size.

Do some print them out at home? what kind of Paper is used ect ect...

I have used Inkscape but I am not an expert by any means. You can change the document properties to set the page size. You can buy avery dennison adhesive labels that are multiples on a sheet, and they also have templates that you can use as a background for label placement. I don't do too many labels because I keg.
