Infected yeast starter?

Hi all, whipped up a small starter last night with a fresh pack of White Labs wlp001 California ale. I've never seen starter krausen or that creamy top on a starter before. Just wanted some opinions, thanks!

I've never seen bubbles like that either, but I'm guessing it's fine. Can always throw in some dry instead if you're scared.

It's absolutely fine. Even if it were infected, there's no way it would be visible after just 1 day. That starter is perfectly fine, and looks hungry! Get brewing and feed it the main course!

It looks like healthy and happy yeast. You can always taste the decanted wort to be sure.
