In a nutshell I'm looking for a recipe that could emulate if Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA and Firestone Walker Easy Jack had a love child. The malt profile/alcohol of 90 minute but avoiding the piney, resinous flavors and have a hoping schedule that produces something along the lines of Easy Jack...bright citrus and tropical while avoiding the cattiness.

Does anything in the recipe respiratory or commercial beers that have been successfully cloned come to mind? Just get me pointed in the right direction please!

Here is a clone for 90 minute:

You don't have to go that high with the alcohol. 7-8% abv would be better, as would a lower Final Gravity.

Use Citra & Amarillo instead of Citra & Simcoe.

Revised hop schedule = 10 oz. total:

1.00 oz. at 60 min w/Warrior or Columbus Hops
2.00 oz. at 10 min w/even mix of Citra & Amarillo
3.00 oz. at post-boil hopstand w/even mix of Citra & Amarillo
4.00 oz. at 5 day dryhop w/even mix of Citra & Amarillo

You could sub the Citra and Amarillo for Nelson Sauvin and Galaxy in the same quantity if you have them laying about, that's a great combo for tropical goodness. But the above would be tasty as well!
