I was trying to make a full load in the dishwasher and figured it couldn't hurt to put my racking hose in there to at least wash the outside, and then I would sanitize the inside later. When the cycle was finished, the hose was no longer clear but completely fogged up either from the detergent or rinse aid.

Question is, is it still safe to use? I'm getting near the time to bottle and I really don't want to make a trip out to the store just to buy a couple feet of hose.

Sanitize it and use it. The worst that you have done is clean it. LOL

Definitely, mine gets cloudy all the time. I thought you were going to say that the heat melted it. That would be intense. Definitely rinse well though.
