OK, so last week I started a Hefe.

I was using my 14gal brewpot for the first time. I got a bit impatient and didn't wait for the brew water temp to come up before putting the carapils wort into the water.
So with the slow warming of the water the dextrins basically went thru the rest periods that broke them down (can't think of what they are at the moment) into fermentable sugars.

When I transfered it today it was a bit thin. I have a feeling the little bit of hop bitterness is going to mellow out a bit to much and I'll end up with a tastless thin beer.

So I was thinking of dry hopping in the secondary and adding dextrin to the secondary as well.

Is there anything wrong with adding dextrin to the secondary? Recommendations on how much to add?

Thanks,
D*Bo
