I'm trying to decide if I want to do an immersion chiller or a counter-flow version. I typically use hops in pellet form, in a hop bag. For those of you that use immersion chillers, do you just put the chiller in on top of the already-in-the-boil hops bags? Or do you just not use hops bags?

I've used my immersion chiller once...for my just-bottled batch. I simply lifted the hops bag up, set the chiller into the wort, and put the bag back inside the chiller loops. No problem whatsoever.
