I'm in for a mess

Thought I had another carboy available, forgot I had a batch of apfelwein in it!

9gallons of Hefeweizen in 2x 5gal carboys. man o man. I didn't even bother with my pitiful blowoffs, just stuck some foil over the top. Laid a towel down in the bottom of my chest freezer. This is going to suck!

Either that or find a piece of flexible tubing with the same OD as the carboy spout's ID.

I took a picture this morning, about 8 hours after pitching (Made a 2L starter and divided it up between the two) and there was krausen almost up to the top already. I'm expecting a reenactment of Ol' Faithful when I get home from work today.
