The 2# of sugar would certainly help out. What temperature was your mash? Between a low temperature and the simple sugars, I could see it coming down that far.

But I guess the important question is simply: How does it taste? :)

1.012 is about where every IPA or IIPA should end up. Your projected final gravity wouldve been a hoppy barleywine.
