ID Identifying wild hops

My buddy has a number of wild hops plants on his grandpa's old farm. We're in the Willamette Valley in Oregon and he's sure that they've been there since the 1960's at least.

How can I identify what kind of hops they are? He's willing to give them all to me in exchange for some brew. He's pretty sure we could fill up a grain sack with hops.
 
You're in the land of hops. Maybe just take some around to different growers and see what they think they are. If anyone knows, it's them. Also they would be the most likely to remember something like, "Oh yeah, old so-and-so was growing Northern Brewer out there back in the '50s." Hell, if I lived out there, I'd do it just to see some hop farms and meet hop farmers.
