Apparently 16 kegs is not enough!

I had to mix 2 gallons of english bitter with 2 gallons of wit beer so that I could free up a keg for some beer that I am taking out of secondary tomorrow. Woe is me woe is me.

But on the up side I did just try some of the english wit and it doesn't taste bad, but totally lacks the greatness of either of the two stiles...

:(

why not leave the beer in secondary for another week or two and go on an English Bitter binge? Or bottle one of them Mr. Muncher style?

That English Wit Bitter doesn't sound near as good as waiting for a free keg.

Well my kegs are also my secondaries... so the problem is compounded by the fact that they are pulling double duty and there are some things that need a long secondary sitting in the kegs.

Oh and I don't bottle, I absolutely refuse.

I never thought I would say the same thing, but a few weeks back I had to work hard to make sure I had 6 empty kegs. I've got 18 total. I had 2 that were ready to be used, 2 more that I ended up giving away growlers of for a week or so till they were empty, then I ended up dumping about a gallon out of each of 2 different kegs (average beer that was way past its prime).

Now I'm in a holding pattern for brewing till I get closer to emptying some more. Though I'm going to brew up a flanders red and a lambic sometime soon, so I won't need kegs for those for a year or so.
