So, I am going to enter a pretty big competition here in my area. It is for big beers - barleywines, oak aged stouts, etc.

Anyone have some great recipes I could get some inpiration from? Looking for extract recipes with specialty grains. I have never done barlywine before, but was thinking something like a bourbon porter or similar? Anyone have a standout recipe they are willing to share?

The winner of this competition gets to rebrew their batch at a local U-Brew house on professional equipment in very large quantities. I would then sell my beer to the restaurant who is putting on the competition, and they keep it on tap throughout fall of 2011!!
