I should probably put this next topic in the Dog thread. But my friends are here.

Not sure if I mentioned it before but my wife who can be...no not going there.
She has the kindness of a saint.; at times.

About a month ago a "dog farm" was removed. The humane society initially took in the dogs but they don't have room for them all. So they asked the public's help. Take a dog for a few weeks, they provide food, medicine, even blankets. Your job is to get the dog healthy. My wife, she took on a dog

I wish I had pics of him when she brought him home. He was super skinny, his hair (what there was) was matted down.

First feed he devoured a bowl of food.

This is him now. No longer starving and dirty. He bounces with excitement when he walks. Still extremely skiddish.

In other news, this wkend I mixed 4 bags of mortar and built a base for my tub, then dropped the tub in there and let it set overnight. It's rock solid. Really happy with that. Electrical, plumbing, all done. Just have to finish the woodwork around the tub now, and install a couple of large mirrors, and make frames for mirrors (have to stain/finish to match vanities) and that bathroom is done. Faucet and spout are roughed in. Sweet!

Ischiavo here's the drip tray progress. Nothing expensive, register grates and wood. It's just pieced together and might not be the exact path I take yet. Still playing around. I think maybe I'll paint the grates black for some contrast. This weekend I'll finish it. I like it though 🙂
