I just felt like sharing how excited I am to have stumbled upon the JAOM recipe here. My wife loves Ethiopian food and when I mentioned that there was an easy mead I could make she insisted I try it. One hour, a trip to the market, and some sanitizing of my old Mr Beer LBK and I’ve got mead in the fermenter.

Of course this will be an ever greater test of my biggest brewing weakness……patience.

If she like Ethiopian food, she may like T'ej. Ethiopian mead.

She does but I wasn't sure where to get gesho. I figured I'd start with something simple that I had easily obtainable ingredients. We'll see if she likes the homemade version and go from there. Thanks for the recipe!

No worries. You can get the gesho on Amazon.
