I have to wait on bottleing

I have had my batch in the fermenter for a week and cant bottle due to my schedule. Will it affect anything to let it sit for another week?

Nope. You'd actually be better off letting it sit another couple of weeks before bottling. Let the yeast do their job and clean up after themselves. You'll be happier for it.

It will be better to wait. Generally, beer isn't ready to be bottled in less than three weeks and some beers benefit from longer.

++ to just letting it sit. Most people here will have their beer sitting at least three weeks total before bottling.
