Okay, now that I got the title out of the way -- I'm off to the adventuresome world of AG soon. I picked up the ingredients to make EdWort's Haus Ale and IPA, but of course I'm getting into this hobby well into the hop shortage so I don't have stockpiles. Anyways, enough about that. /end rant

For the IPA, here's Ed's hop schedule versus mine. Any thoughts?

Eds:
1 oz. Warrior 60 minutes
1 oz. Centennial 15 minutes
1 oz. Centennial 5 minutes
1 oz. Centennial (dry)

Proposed:
1 oz. Nugget pellet 60 minutes
1 oz. Phoenix pellet 15 minutes
1 oz. Cascade leaf 5 minutes
1 oz. Cascade leaf (dry)

and yes, I know I could surf around the net and find Warrior and Centennial, but I'm addicted and need to brew this weekend :mug:

thanks for any comments, positive or negative.

As far as the hop shortage is concerned, you can go to freshops.com and hopsdirect.com. Each has more hop varieties now than they did when I started in January.

I feel your pain, I just bit the bullet and bought 3 pounds of hops today. It makes since to buy in bulk as it helps keeps the costs down.
