Noticed a weird packaging product by Monster Energy in RiteAid. It's a standard aluminum can lid, but a plastic bottle. I imagine if (huge theoretical if) the plastic could hold carbonation, it wasn't some odd patented thing and raw materials were available at a decent cost, etc - it might be easier for a home brewer to seal plastic vs. an aluminum canning machine. Anyone seen this? Thoughts?

It's uncarbonated which suggests to me that using this container for a carbonated product might be problematical.
