I just got one, and I understand from other threads the flame is somewhat small, but gosh mine is probably less than half an inch.

Can someone post up a pic of their flame with this NG burner?

Would increasing my orifice size help?

Thanks.

Dave

It was supposed to be a low pressure burner for natural gas. I fired it up again this evening and it seemed to perform better. I think I am in good shape.

A lot of performance issues with Nat Gas can be traced back to the supply pipes regarding the size and length from the main trunk. You can also run into trouble if you're trying to tap off of smaller branch lines like the 1/2" pipes that go to a water heater or furnace. You'll get a pressure drop on your brewery line when the appliances sharing those lines fire up. Afterall, most furnaces are pulling 120Kbtu and when you add another 100k it's too much for that 1/2" line to carry.
