How will El Niño affect this years hop growing season?

The spring outlook is expecting above average to much above average temps for the next 3 months. In the typical year we dont usually get shoots until end of April or May. I could easily see us getting significant growth as early as March mid to late March if the temp trend continues.

How will this affect the growing season? Will the season be shifted an entire month due to the early start?

I have been wondering the same thing. I had shoots coming up on Christmas day.
Saw an article today about February being significantly the warmest in history primarily due to climate change and El Niño.

I had a few sprouts coming up in early February, was pretty wild.
