Hello there,

I am moving soon and I am going to be adding a kitchen island in the new place. With that said, it's almost directly above my kegging storage and kegerator. So I am VERY tempted to bring a coulpe lines up from the basement into my island to have a tap in the kitchen. Does anyone know:

1. if this a good idea and is it possible just with typical CO2 pressurization?
2. How can I keep my lines cold to the tap? I am willing to bet 1/2 to a full pint would be in a ~15' line! Is there a way I can put it in PVC and somehow keep cold? I can insulate the PVC and it works two fold so I can pull it out to replace or clean when needed without having to reroute it through the floor joists.

I'm open to suggestions here as I want this to be...well...badass!

Thanks,
Lorne

It actually looks like 15' of 3/16 ID beer line is about 2.8 fl oz. You can either just dump the first few ounces or rely on the rest of the beer to equalize to a temp in the low 40s. Id insulate the lines so theres no heat exchange during transit.
