Some things I brew foam more than others. Pineapple, for instance. I'm looking for an herbal/ chemical solution to the foaming.

Some of my blends, a quarter of a glass fills the glass with foam. Others barely foam at all under the same conditions. I'm looking to make the first kind more like the last type.

Explicitly: I know about balancing lines, reducing pressures where it's dispensed. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm looking for something I can add to my brew that will reduce the foaming.

Ideally, it's a healthy product. I don't want to use silicones, or antifreeze additives, or anything of the sort. I'm looking for an easy, healthy way to cut down excessive foam— any suggestions?

Would love to see an example of a "foamy recipe".

Otherwise, I'm unconvinced this isn't a dispensing issue. If the system is on the hairy edge anything out of the "normal" band could cause excessive foaming at the faucet...

Cheers!

i'm convinced i'm personally being trolled....

i hate head, i just like a full glass with a little white on top....

try a rest at 125f or so...i just only carb to 8psi...

Love me a fluffy head with lots of foam!

I overcarb most of my beers by a few PSI and do slow pours. It also is good for filling growlers and bottles that lose carbonation due to headspace.
