I've read a lot of the stickies but most seem to deal with setting up kegerators?

If I want to load a keg and then let it sit for a few weeks or months until I'm ready for it, Do you charge it in the kegerator and then remove or do you need a different setup? I foresee having a couple in a small kegerator and a couple on standby...

All this and I haven't even brewed my first batch yet. What am I in for... :rockin:

After filling my kegs I give it a good shot of CO2 to seal the lid and ensure there are no leaks. They will age a little quicker at room temp but I wouldn't let the temp rise above 70-75. I carbonate the keg for a week when I put it the kegerator. I have found they start to come into their own about 6-8 weeks after brewing. If you can afford kegging it is great. I should have done it sooner.
