I have acquired a 1.5 gallon glass jug and i want to make some test batches in it but i dont know how. its probably easy math but if anyone has some basic/cool methods on making test batches can you let me know? Im really looking forward to experimenting with fruit mostly i have bunch of cherries in the freezer and i was thinking about making a cherry brown ale but so far ive only used kits to make batches. ive been wanting to start partial mashing but havent gotten a chance. im assuming i can do all grain test batches considering the batch size. i have a 22 quart kettle. please help.

Nothing more involved than cutting your ingredients to fit. With a 1.5 gallon jug, you'll probably want to aim for 1 gallon batches, so cut everything by 5.

Timing, temperatures, etc. all stay the same.
