This should probably be in the review section but I just want to suggest to anyone even thinking abut purchasing "How to Brew", by Palmer, to do it NOW!!!

It is a great read and has a ton more content than the one online. I have learned a few things to help me in my next batch. It also is an easy read and a good office (aka, toilet) read.

My wife calls it my "beer porn".:ban:

Like I said if you don't have it but are thinking about it, do it.

That book and Designing Great Beers by Ray Daniels got me to where I am now. Palmer's book got me started, and I refer to it occasionally. The Daniels book is practically my bible for making recipes.

Palmer's book has become the first place I look when I have a problem or question about brewing...it has been an excellent resource of info.

I ordered Designing Great Beers and Radical Brewing from Amazon last night.

I heard rumors that Palmer and Jamil Z are writing a book together that is basically a 'how to brew using extract' book that includes a bunch of Jamil's recipes. It is supposed to also include the AG equivalents.

That would be cool! I lilke listening to Jamil on TBN and Palmer is, well, the guy!

I can second the kudos on Daniel's Designing Great Beers. It's my main brew book these days.
