Kind of an odd question,

I have my fermentation chamber right next to my kegerator and would love to place my fermenter on top of my kegerator to siphon my beer into the keg. I make 5 gallon batches. Do you think it's safe for the top of a kegerator to hold this much weight for about 10 minutes? I have a black plastic top on my kegerator just like any other kegerator has. Thanks.

Standard protocol for me with small chest freezer with no collar. As a matter a fact, I have stood on top of mine at 230 lbs (although I avoid placing my feet dead center, but my feet did shift around to various corners).

I racked into my keg last night with my fermenter on top of my kegerator. It seemed like it easily held the weight (50-60 pounds i'm guessing). I like the plywood idea and may do that if I see anything shaky in the future. Thanks guys! :mug:
