Good afternoon,
Bottled/racked to second fermentation an apple wine today and I can’t tell if I need to add some fluid to the bottle or if there is enough in there to keep it from having too much oxygen exposure. I put a pinch of sugar in thinking that I might be able to get a small fermentation going to build up co2 but I’m not sure if it will start up again or not. Thoughts?

I would fill it higher, with apple juice or cider. Or glass marbles.

That's super cloudy, is it still fermenting?

It was an organic apple juice that was unfiltered. Started at a 1.12 and ended at a .990. Great suggestion on the marbles, I appreciate that!
