How Much Fruit Should I Add?

Hey there. I am coming up on my third brew and am going to do a chocolate raspberry stout. After reviewing all the options of the style of fruit to add (fresh, puree, extract) I am going to go with adding a puree. From past experience, how much should I add to a stout in order to taste the raspberry, but not have it be overwhelming? I am brewing a 5 gallon batch. Thanks for the response.
 
I did a raspberry porter with 4.5 lbs of raspberries. It was delicious, but very raspberry. I would think if you want it to be more subtle, go for about half that.
