How many lbs. of apples=1 Gallon juice?

Hmmmm, I don't quite remember. It sure is alot, though!

Edit- I looked at my notes, and it looks like 48 pounds of apples for three gallons of cider.

Holy crap that's alot. 16 Lbs. of apples for 1 gallon of cider. That's a lot of apples. See I have this juicer and want to brew my first cider with the freshest apples. Even at .99/lb that's in the vicinity of $15 for a 1 gallon batch. Not cheap considering you can brew a 5 gallon batch of mid-strength beer for close to that amount.
