How long is dry yeast ok at room temp?

So I made the mistake of having my wife pick up some yeast for my brew I am planning today since I work too long to make it to the brew store to get it myself. She left it out overnight. Is it still ok? I would rather not waste a good batch of beer.

Don't blame her because you didn't tell her to fridge it! It's still okay, just get it into a starter. I'm assuming it wasn't on the stove while a meal was cooked or anything.

Dry will last like... forever (not literally, but it will seem like it).
