Quick question,

I ordered a kit to make an IPA, and havent had time to get to it in a while. Just wondering how long the yeast will last (have it in the fridge)?

There should be a date on it. If not my experience is a few months for liquid yeast and about twice that for dry yeast

dry yeast? i have some that was produced by King Tut's boys... seriously, dry yeast, if kept cool, is good for at least 1.5-2 years

ah good, ill check for a date. its dry yeast though so Im fine for quite some time. Surprising how long it lasts compared to bread yeast, which is only said to be good for a few months after opened

That's because you opened it. Unopened it'll last a very long time. Same with beer yeast.
