I am off to the supply store Friday. Will be making one batch this weekend but I wouldn't mind buying the supplies for another batch I will make in two weeks. Do cracked grains keep well?

room temp & dry is perfect storage. made an all grain with 4 month old home crushed came out just fine... dry is biggest factor

You're fine. I buy all my base grains crushed and I'm talking about buying three 55lb bags at a time. I go through them in few months and I don't really notice any flavour change in my beer from the top of the bag to the bottom. It may be that there is a slight lowering of efficiency but there are so many variables in the process that it could be several things.
I keep mine in my basement and on a shelf up off the floor.
