how long can LME keep

How long can I keep LME and should it be stored in the fridge???

Unopened, air and light tight, up to 2 years if kept consistently cool. Once opened if stored at least as well as milk, 3 months max. The more it's opened, the shorter it's good for. The fridge sounds good. So sayest the internet.

I store mine in the fridge - the longest ive kept one container in there was a couple of month but it was fine. If you dot store it at a cool temprature like anything it will go bad faster.....

I store mine in the basement were it stays cool. Longest I've kept it ws 6 months and had no problem with it. Like Zul'jin said it's supposed to last 2 years if unopened and kept cool but it must be refridgerated after its been opened. I would think storing it in the fridge would help keep it fresh.
