How long after fermentation is done

Hi all,

I'm using Pico C and amat the fermetentation process. Fermentation will be complete in 5 days. Problem is that I'm gonna be away and will come back 7 days later.

Is it ok if my beer stays in contact with yeast all that time. Will it be still ok to put hop pouches for another 3 days before transferring in to the serving keg?

Yes, definitely. The fermented beer can sit on the yeast for many weeks with no problem.

You can leave beer on yeast for many months without issues. I do all my fermentations for 14 days and sometimes much longer. I'm not sure what you are asking about with the hop pouches. If you mean dry hopping, it is often done after fermentation is done and then for 5-7 days.

I’m at 2 1/2 weeks on an ESB with apparently lazy yeast. It was good for the first few days but only got to 1.028...been letting it sit around 70 trying to finish it. Still getting bubbles but real slow.

Go to know I can leave it a while. I was considering kegging it to seal it with co2 and leaving at room temperature a while to finish
