I'll try to make a video in a bit. But basically I have one of the beer faucet handles with an mfl attachment and presently a ball lock connector on it. Something like this:

I used to swap it between the ball and pin lock disconnects whenever I was using a different type of keg (I use it mostly when I'm transferring beer between kegs, so it's actually spent the majority of it's life on a gas disconnect)

Well, I moved across the country, didn't brew for awhile, and it sat there. Now I can't get the dam disconnect off. The metal threads of the disconnect have broken free from the plastic and it just spins when I try to take it off. I tried boiling the whole thing, and soaking it in star san, can't seem to break the mfl threads free.

Any thoughts?

And some locking pliers maybe?

I actually have a bottle of Kroil... but the idea of putting that something which will later touch something I consume... seems bad.

Disassemble the faucet before using the penetrating oil, minimise the exposure.

Also, I don't think penetrating oil is going to help. You need to get to where you can grab the metal parts with pliers/vicegrips to stop the spinning.
