How did I end up with”sparkling” wine??

I have been making wine for about 5 years and I use fractional freezing after my 7 day ferment. This is the first time my blackberry/grape came out of freezer carbonated. How did that happen ??? Was it the “red star” yeast the home brew company talked me into?? I usually use dry yeast from supermarket.
 
Your batch Likely wasn’t finished or degassed all the way. Did you take gravity reading Or let it age before you froze it?
 
My dad accidentally made mildly fizzy sloe wine one year that I thought was excellent. Is this one of those 'happy' accidents?
