I am getting into kegging here pretty soon, and looking at options.
I have a couple of Ball Lock Kegs lined up locally for $25 a piece.
What size CO2 tank is best for price?
I was thinking 5# but how long will they last? What about a 2.5# or 10#?

I have been looking at keg connection and keg cowboy any other recommendations?

I got a 5 pound tank with my keg kit, and thus far have been pretty satisfied with it. We force carbonated several kegs, and served several more with it before we had to replace it. That said, if money wasn't a concern at the time I'd have gone for a 10 pound tank in the fridge, or if I find where is safe to drill, a 20lb outside of the fridge. Its not hassle for me to swap tanks, because the place I get them filled/swapped at is close, its just inconvenient when the tank runs dry late at night.

I'd try to get the biggest you can fit/afford (up to 20#). Most places only charge a little more for a 20# refill than they do 5# refill. Also, it's nice to also have a 5# tank so you always have a spare.
