How awesome is feeling of trying a new brewing techniques, on new brewing equipment and know it's working from the gentle heartbeat of the blow off tube in the ferm chamber more than a week later ?

'Tis a pleasant sound and feeling, indeed! However, my last brew blew off big time rather than bubbling away. That Trappist High Gravity yeast is a beast! I just pitched another batch on top of that yeast cake, so I'm expecting a mess again...
