how are extract kits made?

Just wondering. I know how all grain works and I know the process of extract brewing, but how do they condense the all grain wort into a single can of extract? or is that even how it works? Like I said just curious

Can't say I know for sure, but I would assume some form of vacuum dehydration. Taking wort (hopped or unhopped) and removing most (LME) or almost all (DME) of the water from it.

Special equipment. Vacuum boilers and spray dryers. You can't make your own very easily or cheaply.
