Holy nostrils , I just found my new hobby.
I had a coworker who bought one of those universal tv power things. It would turn off almost any tv, you could also adjust the volume. It would work most of the time. You could walk into any bar, restaurant or lobby and mess with the tv. Genius.

I'm pretty sure ThinkGeek had those back before they were bought and converted into a clothing line.

I had a few of their annoy-a-trons that I never put to good use. I tried hiding one in the room of a guy I didn't like at college years ago, but I think I hid it to well for the sound to get to him. I also hid one in my former interim boss's van, and I got conflicting reports on how much that messed with him.

I got the leopard thanks to Terry Pratchett's brilliant description of a hard of hearing leopard in Soul Music. For a few seconds I thought of 3 Doors Down, but realized there weren't enough.
