Inspired me to come up with a new term. A "brew tulpa" occurs every time a homebrewer is inspired by an absurd brewing related joke or meme in such a way that said absurd concoction actually becomes a reality. Although the term is derived from a concept in eastern mysticism, the brew tulpa is a uniquely homebrew forum associated phenomenon, usually preceeded by an overindulgence in beer resulting in an inflated self confidence. Brew tulpas are very real and usually very disgusting.
