What do you use the most? Do you guys have base hops (akin to base malts) that you keep in bulk perhaps?

I got a pound of Ekg, I was wondering about you guys?

I seem to be loving Halleratu Mittelfruh and Citra lately. I have them bookmarked at a couple of sites so I can check prices regularly in case a special comes up.

(also, please forgive this, my son wants me to post this as well: :fro: Guess that is what I get for letting my almost 6 year old stay up this late.

I have bunches of stuff, but I'd say Columbus can be used to produce some mighty fine IPA's and APA's and is considerably cheaper than Centennial, Simcoe, etc.

It really depends what you like to brew.

Me? I always stock Sterling for Belgian and German styles, Centennial for US, and EKG, First Gold, and Phoenix for English. 95% of what I brew can be made with some combination of those.

Columbus and Cascade. I am considering adding Centennial, Magnum and possibly Simcoe and Amarillo.
Columbus and Cascade go into my house IPA. I'm experimenting with an all Centennial IPA and a Torpedo Extra IPA clone and then a SA Rebel IPA clone.
I keep all my hops at -10*F in a commercial grade freezer.
