I'm thinking about a new build aiming for 12litres into packaging, it would be a BIAB mounted on a trolley.
The trolley could be considered a table on wheels comprising of a table top and a shelf under it.
To stop the pot sliding about the pot would drop through a hole in the table top extending to about 8" (20cm) below the top. The bottom of the pot would sit on an 1.5 or 2Kw electrical hotplate.
My concern is that the heat rising from the hot plate would burn the table top.
How might I best avoid this?
Thanks aamcle
Edit. I think I have been dumb, it I use strut or slotted angle I can just make an open frame and would not need the table top.
