I'm looking for some info on the length of hose that people have used for a single tier system. I already got all the disconnects and have 10' of 1/2" silicone hose and 2' of 3/8" hose. Now I need to cut up the hose, but at $2/ft I'd rather cut once :)

I need to make a portable system so the location of the pump isn't fixed. I don't have a stand, so everything is basically sitting on the ground. I figured I need 3 hoses, but not sure how long I want to make them. Right now I'm thinking a shorter (~2') one and two longer ones. The short one would be the input to the pump and the longer ones would be on the output side of the pump and then one for the output of my chiller. Anyone have any other ideas?
